How much weight can you lose in a month?

In general, 1 to 2 pounds per week, or 4 to 8 pounds per month, is a safe amount to lose.

If your goal is to loose weight, first step is to build muscles and then adjust your diet to a calorie deficit.

Do not look at the scale, but rather how your clothes fit, you will loose fat and gain muscle so the number on the scale will not be a good indicator.

Remember that your weight also fluctuate a lot during the day : up to 5 or 6 pounds per day.

Period weight gain : 3 to 5 pounds during your period. It will go away a few days after your period starts. It is caused by water retention, overeating, sugar cravings, and skipping workouts due to cramps
